The Perfect City - PERFECTUS

Hi, a few of you have asked why I saw the perfect city the way I have in my painting PERFECTUS.
I will try to shed some light on why I painted what I did.
I have had the opportunity to live in a few cities around the world, in comparison to where I am living now, Markham really is the PERFECT city.
For those of us that live here, we experience what Markham has to offer every day. It is a perfect balance of old and new, for the old and for the young, for the residents and the businesses. It offers the feeling of a small town, yet all the services and amenities of a metropolis. We have access to Markham’s heritage as well as Markham’s up and coming new city buildings.
With all the libraries, community centers, parks and great schools, what a great place for our children to grow. As a new immigrant to Canada, I am very fortunate to live in a city that offers so much support and respect to so many cultures.
I painted the PERFECT CITY as how I see Markham, what a great place to live !
